Meet the Artist

Stacie Burke is a visual artist based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana whose paintings explore the soft living world most people pass by.

Nearly 30 years into her practice, her work has found homes in living rooms, churches, and government buildings across the Southeast.

She has participated in local festivals, donated custom pieces to meaningful causes, and built her collector base.

The paintings come from within. Not planned so much as allowed, a process of letting something unfold rather than forcing it into shape. There is a tenderness toward the imperfect thing. Somewhere for the mind to rest.

Every commission begins with listening. Who you are, how you live, what you want the room to hold — whether that's rest, connection, memory, or simply a place to exhale. Stacie works holistically, without agenda or ego. Just a genuine desire to make something that feels like it was always meant to be there.
